Jake Zemke (born December 15, 1975 in San Francisco, California) is a professional motorcycle road racer of partial Japanese ancestry. He turned pro in 1992.[1] Zemke's race number was 98 for most of his racing career.[2] He started riding at the age of 6 and entered his first race at the age of 9.
For the 2008 season, Zemke is signed to ride for Erion Honda and will compete in the AMA Supersport and AMA Formula Xtreme series.[3] In 2009 is the replacement rider of World Superbike team [Stiggy Racing] Honda at selected events, and conquest one point. He also rode for Erion Honda team in the AMA Pro Daytona Sportbike class. For 2010 Zemke is riding famed Basketball player Michael Jordans "National Guard / Jordan Motorsports backed #54 Suzuki Gsxr1000K9. At the 2010 opening round at Daytona International Raceway Zemke qualified near the tail of the top 10 but clawed his way to a double win to give Jordan Motorsports their first official AMA American Superbike class wins.
